So.. I thought I'd check out the official website and sign up and get my own blog. How disappointed was I at the lack of linkability. If you have your own MySpace page or other blog, and want to link to it then you need to be pretty clever. You'd think it would be as simple as "myidol.australianidol.bigpond.com.au/username" but no. Instead, there is a generic page "MyBlog.aspx" which you can only access if you're logged in, otherwise it will send you to a "Please Log In" page. So... if you DO want to link to it, then you need to add "?userid=your user number" - in my case ?userid=4943

It's relatively dumb that there aren't any permalinks. It's baaaad for search engines anyway... oh well. Their loss!
