In just a few minutes the second group of idol hopefuls from our top 30 will take to the stage and show us why they should be voted through to the finals, some will be very convincing, some will batter their eyelids and hope that they can get all the teenyboppers to vote for them while others will fail dismally and crash and burn on the stage in front of the judges and the cameras.
Last week we saw Chris, Tarni and Anne make their way from the stage to the finals, who will join them this week? Only time will tell as we watch tonight’s Australian Idol!!
I'll be typing up the judges comments and my own thoughts as the show progresses, join in by commenting below on what you thought of the group's performances.
Tonight’s show started with a bit of a recap from last week’s Inside Idol show, arriving at the airport, vocal lessons, makeups, the stress, the vocal workshop, the stylist and the boring bits in between when they’re waiting.

She’s looking quite nice tonight, kind of a cross between Chanel and Emelia from last year, her performance is vocally very well done, she holds the stage rather well too. Her voice seems to be back to “normal
After watching the show, Laura was bad but I thought Michael was worse. Complete cheese. Cheese that was off.

i have issues with Milly's hair, so i photoshopped what she would look like if she had Catherine's hair. it's a big improvement, if i do say so myself. it's in the group two photo album.
edit: i had the pleasure of listening back to Laura's performance as an mp3. shockingly bad. i feel sorry for her that Kyle let her get this far.
edited again: what do people have against Kate's personality? she is lively, smiles and laughs a lot, and seems friendly and genuine. ditto for victoria. what do people want instead of that? another casey non-personality?
An All Girl night tonight.
None of the guys impressed me.
michael was this week's josh for me -- the girls think he's cute (for some bizarre reason), but he can't sing to save himself.
milly was surprisingly dull (or maybe i'm just sick of hearing this particular song), kate was surprisingly good, victoria was unsurprisingly hot.
if roxane becomes australian idol, she'll fall harder and faster than casey did. can the people who are voting for her really see her as the next aus idol?
