its been brought to my attention that kate from bendigo is in the top 5 because she comes from money. Her father owns 2 car yards and has shares in Telco. I know that she has a huge fan base but her fathers money and votes are getting her through. Kate lives in Queensland with her voice coach, which of course, her dad pays for, whuch wouldn't be cheap. Her father has his employees voting all day Monday just to make sure she gets through. If you think i'm just a Kate hater thats not true, i think that she has a great voice but i want her to get real votes, not on her dads. its not fair on the other contestants. HOW WILL SHE EVER KNOW IF SHE WAS GOOD ENOUGH ON HER OWN?
I was a big big fan of emily once until one day she came in to my shop for bread. she was so damn cocky n rude. I am glad that she didnt win the aust idol, she didnt deserve to win. I think the reason she hasnt released any album til now is cause she is so too ugly; look and personality.

Well I tell you what ... I 've voted for Kate ... and Emily from the first show and I couldn't care less how much money Kate's father has, or what he owns. I voted for her because I liked the 'package' in it's entirity. She won because she deserved to and her father certainly never paid for my votes. Get a life!!!!!!!

I always vote for Kate...and she does have plenty of advid supporters...apart from having Bendigo behind you...and the school she use to go to...that's what I would be doing...getting as much support as possible...
I am not sure about whether she's rich or not. But what i agree is, SMS voting method = who rich who get more vote (sometimes).
However, i dont think that's rediculours for kate in the Top 4, because she really can sing and a lot better than other guys. Yes, i agreed that Anne was better than her, but i think it doesnt mean Kate should leave before Anne. There are still a lot of bad contestent out there, like Danieal (too stiff), Lee (Certainly can't sing). I think the real top 4 should be : Kate, Emily, Anne and Dan. Emily and Anne should be Top 2 cause they are the only two got a whole package of the Australian Idol.

She can sing, but she doesn't have a future as a singer. Almost all the singers who have already left were better than Kate!!! She has had some REALLY REALLY REALLY bad weeks, where the one who went was better than her! and, Daniel's gone. And Lee can sing or else he wouldn't of got a touchdown, and he wouldn't have so many fans!
And as for Emily and Anne having the full AUSTRALIAN idol package, they're not even Australian, they stay have the New Zealand accent!
What Kate's dad is doing is classified as cheating. What would the judges say if they knew the reason she was there?!

Oh, how naive is that! Only because Anne and Emily are not truely Australian then they shouldn't become a Australian Idol?? They're living here and as a citizen of Australia. So we should consider they are Australian as well. If only because they're came from NZ and shouldn't vote for them or even not give them a chance, it will destroy someone carrier with good singing skill and talented. You should learn cross culture understanding. They way you think is too conservative. Australia consider as one of the Multiculture country, however, still got a people like you look down to other culture groups. Wake up! Is globalization now!
well that's a bit of a stupid thing to say, that i'm against other races, and people from NZ, my dad's from NZ, i wasn't bagging other races, and i never would. And i only pointed out coz someone said that they wanted a truly australian idol!
TALKING ABOUT RACIAL STUFF....The Oz Idol Verdict was a TRAGEDY!! Emily was totally robbed!! Everyone's going on about 'true blue aussie' this, and go the former fat girl looking so good, go the dags of Australia etc etc. It makes me sick. And you could tell Mark Holden was quite disapppointed with the result. While Kate has talent, she got ZERO touchdowns compared to THREE for Emily, who was arguably the best vocalist and performer out of the whole lot, let alone against Kate. Emily was consistent each and every week and has an amazing powerful voice, and delivered the best version of the winner's single on Sunday night. I think this is a RACIAL thing. Why someone that good would lose it to a golden-haired girl says it all. Australia just won't accept a Kiwi girl whose heritage is Samoan. Its ok for guys to be ethnic (ie Random winning X Factor, Guy winning Idol) because its seen as sexy/exotic...but not for females! Emily's talent got completely overlooked because she wasn't a typical blond aussie and didnt get sympathy for being teased by Kyle about her 'tuckshop lady' arms!! I know this is probably too full-on for people to read but I just had to have my say...Im really disappointed in Australia. I had finally gotten over the BB result where the most deserved winner was robbed because Australia loves boring gits with no substance or personality...and now this happens!! When will it end?
That ain't true... his a fan of Kate so he should vote... it doesn't matter how many times you vote for them... example: me for instants... i vote for Dan like 20 times or something... does it really matter no... this competition is here for your favourite to hopefully win... and his favourite is Kate so his got every right to vote for her...
i wouldn't care if it was just him voting for her, but he's got ALL his employees doing it as well. They had to send 500 votes just to get her into the top 13, so how many will they be sending now? especially seeing as she was in the bottom 3 last night.
So let's just say that they're still doing 500votes each...he owns 2 car yards, which would have about 50 people all up...so they're getting 25,000 votes just from the employees.
